Welcome to Lake Rosseau – where tranquility meets sophistication in Muskoka's embrace. Nestled amidst pristine waters and lush forests, Lake Rosseau offers a unique blend of charm and exclusivity.

 

Located just north of Lake Muskoka, Lake Rosseau is easily accessible from Toronto, approximately two hours away by car. Spanning over 60 square kilometers, the lake is renowned for its crystal-clear waters, sandy shores, and rugged granite cliffs. Its shoreline is dotted with lush forests, upscale cottages, and charming towns, creating a picture-perfect backdrop for lakeside living.

 

Lake Rosseau gives you access to many towns around Muskoka. You have the Town of Rosseau in the north and Port Carling in the south. In-between you will find Minett, Windemere, and Port Sandfield. All locations offer restaurants, shops, and activities. You also have access to Lake Joseph through the Joe River or Port Sandfield and you can venture down to Lake Muskoka through the Port Carling locks.

 

A fun fact about Lake Rosseau is that when the Joe-Rosseau River was blasted in the early 1900s by Lady Eaton, the water level rose by over a foot on Lake Rosseau.
